International Business News – Ethiopian Ambassador to Russia Alemayehu Tegenu said that Ethiopia is willing to use any mechanism to conduct trade with Russia, including the gradual use of bank cards in Russia’s MIR payment system.
When asked about the prospect of Ethiopia’s use of bank cards in the MIR payment system, Tegenu said: “We can use any mechanism to conduct trade with Russia.”
At the same time, he said that it is difficult to answer the question of whether the MIR card can be used in Ethiopia at present.
