Myanmar exports over 110,000 tons of fruit in three months

International Business News  –  According to data from the Myanmar Trade Bureau, Myanmar exported more than 100,000 tons of fruit to foreign markets within three months. Especially watermelon, cantaloup, orange, mango apple, mangosteen, pineapple, avocado, banana lemon, coconut and other fruits.

Myanmar’s exports of these fruits are worth US$42.432 million in the three months from the start of the 2022-2023 fiscal year to June 17. The total export volume of fruit was 116,312.9.9 tons.

The main fruits exported from Myanmar are watermelon, cantaloup, mango, avocado, banana, coconut, macadamia and plum.

China is the largest export market. Previously, due to the epidemic, the fruit market in Myanmar has dropped by more than 50%, and traders and farmers have suffered heavy losses. Now the fruit market in Myanmar has gradually returned to normal.
